I haven't posted on this page in years now. It's been so long that I'm almost surprised it isn't covered in cobwebs. While I don't really want to complain or dwell on mistakes I've made, I'd like to give a bit of an explanation for the people who had enjoyed my posts in the past (however many are left) as to why I haven't been here in a while. Maybe as a cautionary tale.

Frankly, like many artists, I've had a lot of confidence issues with the quality of my work. I never stopped working, but I did stop showing it to people. Frankly, for an artist who thinks of this as more than a hobby, this is not acceptable behavior. Everyone makes mistakes, but you can't worry about them if you want to make progress. But the truth is, the only way you fail is if you let mistakes convince you to stop trying. I've come to realize that this is true for everyone.

With that out of the way, I'll let my work speak for itself. I'm not sure I'll keep this journal entry up for long as I would rather be positive and look forward, but I just wanted to get that off my chest and hopefully help people understand it's never too late to pick yourself out of the mud and continue your journey.
